This blog is an occasional account of Amon Anderson’s work and travel in East Africa. He is living in Nairobi, Kenya and working as a portfolio associate for the Acumen Fund, a non-profit social venture fund based in New York. The posts on these pages will be reflections on this experience, nothing more, nothing less.

Hi Amon,
I am so glad I found the email with your blog info. I have just read the most recent posts and love your soccer insights–they have shown Cristiano’s goals on Sports Center–I agree he is a cry baby.
Anyway, I will forward your blog to Alison who just returned from Haiti. She was there for 6 weeks teaching and doing research. She will really enjoy your posts.
I have been working very hard on Senator Obama’s campaign and hope you have been able to follow this exciting race from afar. Don’t forget to get your absentee ballot. I don’t want to make any assumptions, but regardless of your choice, it is an historic time and NC is going to be pivotal!
Take care and keep posting.
